They follow sunny patches that reach the forest floor as the sun moves across the sky. Despite their menacing appearances, Venusaur are docile Pokémon, preferring to sunbathe so that the plants on their backs can photosynthesize rather than fight. Venusaur are powerful but relatively nonviolent Pokémon. Places where the pollen falls are said to grow thick with large plants. However, the pollen also stimulates plant growth. Inhaling the pollen can cause uncontrollable sneezing, and breathing in too much of it can even cause fainting. The flower on the Pokémon's back spews so much pollen that it resembles a volcanic eruption. After gaining a certain amount of sunlight, the flower will release a sweet aroma said to soothe the emotions of people. Female Venusaur are slightly different because they have a seed on their back, which shows that it can give birth to a new Bulbasaur. The former bulb on its back has now fully bloomed into a gigantic flower, which contains multiple colours pink, yellow ect. Its skin still retains a light turquoise color, but it no longer has the spots, and it appears more rough and scaly, with bumps here and there. This is due to Frenzy Plant being considered to be an elite move in Pokemon GO. While Vine Whip can be easily taught to Venusaur with a fast TM, getting Frenzy Plant can be a bit more tricky. There is a best choice though for Venusaur's best moveset to take advantage of maximum DPS. Venusaur has the choice between two different fast moves and six different choices for charge moves. The only event variation for Venusaur is the Clone Venusaur that was available through Pokemon Day 2020. This means that there is no event hat Venusaur for the Halloween costume cosmetic, red party hat, or the Pikachu visor. While there are multiple event variations for Venusaur's first evolutionary stage, Bulbasaur, players cannot evolve them. Then players can use 100 Bulbasaur candies on their Ivysaur in order to evolve it into Venusaur. Players can obtain a Venusaur via evolution by using 25 Bulbasaur candies on a Bulbasaur in order to evolve it into Ivysaur. ![]()
